Job Description

Chief Information Officer Our local, Fresno, California, client is looking for a Chief Information Officer. The Technology Director/Chief Information Officer responsibilities are to direct, plan, organize and control all of the Technology Department, and to ensure the effective, efficient and secure operation of all company technology. The Technology Department consists of Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS). IT provides the technology infrastructure for the company’s internal needs.

Essential Functions include:

1.  Program Management
2. Strategic Planning
3. Strong customer service

Key Measures:

1. Feedback from the customer (customer service)
2. Staff engagement (feedback from staff)
3. Program deliverables (on time, on budget, according to contract specifications)
4. Financial success of programs/projects
5. Adapting to program change and feedback from clients/customers

Position requires a four degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Ten years of increasing responsibilities in all phases of computer operations and IT infrastructure including but not limited to VMWare and Microsoft approaches. Five of those years should include directing employees in a data processing environment. Must have experience negotiating and dealing with senior level management. Must have experience with increasingly stringent security protocols for protected information. Salary $140,000+ depending on experience.
