Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships Specialist will be responsible for developing, cultivating and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, primarily in the consumer packaged goods (cpg) and retail categories. The SPS will oversee project management, stewardship and daily responsibilities for cpg and retail partners and will explore opportunities to develop new partnerships in these business categories.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage WWP’s relationship with corporate sponsors.
  • Oversee requests, leads and contacts in Strategic Partnerships.
  • Management of all projects between WWP and corporate partners. “
  • Selling” of WWP Programs to donors and “Asking” for support
  • Ability to raise money and gifts-in-kind
  • In-depth knowledge of all functions of the strategic partnerships department
  • Keen sense of donor stewardship and cultivation
  • Understanding of development and cause marketing “best practices”
  • Create and maintain professional network on behalf of WWP
  • Leverage corporate relationships to engage individual donors
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum three years account management experience required
  • Business to business sales experience preferred
