Position:

One Call Now is a progressive market leader in mass messaging communication solutions. Due to continued aggressive growth we seek to add the talents of a SQL Server Developer that is well versed in Microsoft SQL Server Database development, .Net and SQL Server interaction, managing multiple MS SQL 2008 R2’s on large systems, and C# to our team! This position reports to the Manager of Software Development and will be working with numerous technologies at a fairly rapid pace.

Multiple initiatives in progress and many more are waiting to be started, the most ambitious of these initiatives is upgrading and improving existing infrastructure to address reliability, scalability, performance and availability. This involves skills ranging from services communications, cloud computing, networking protocols, concepts and with much more.

Most of the other initiatives can be categorized as integration projects with partner platforms. Many of the same skills which are needed for the implementation of the infrastructure upgrades are needed along with the addition of Single Sign On (SSO) application.

Support and improvement of our existing commercial product is perhaps the most vital of all projects as this is the service we sell. Team members on this project will be skilled in the usual suspects of web application development (ASP.NET, JavaScript, etc).

The Developer’s primary role will be helping to enhance back end, middleware, and server projects using C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Create, troubleshoot and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers and functions Debug and modify Integration Service packages, SSRS reports and design/configure reporting services using RS Configuration manager Develop sufficient knowledge of the current IT applications/technology such that solutions meet business objectives Collaborate on and enforce IT application standards in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment Work closely with the Manager of Software Development and software development team to accomplish development tasks on schedule and within budget Ensure that developed software meets high quality standards by following department best practices guidelines Review colleagues’ code for quality, present alternative methodologies in a constructive and collaborative manner Clean and improve existing code base Contribute in expansion planning and architecture evaluation of One Call Now products and systems Accurately maintain documentation of all of software coding activities and systems development efforts

Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 3-5 years’ experience in developing Windows and/or Web-based SQL applications In-depth Microsoft SQL Server Database development experience Experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 R2 on large systems Basic understanding of Team Foundation Server (TFS) Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases In depth hands-on experience with Transactional SQL and stored procedures Practical experience in managing internal and external MS SQL database security Ability to work with and understand existing .NET applications that interact with SQL Basic understanding of Team Foundation Server (TFS) Strong knowledge and application development in C# SQL Server 2008 or later as well as SQL / T-SQL experience Windows Communication Foundation

Weekly Schedule, Pay and Benefits: Shift and hours: Salaried opportunity during normal business hours, nights and weekends will be required occasionally to accomplish project deadlines and for system maintenance/updates/releases. Salary range: $60,000- $90,000/yr. Commensurate with experience.

Physical Requirements: Duties will be conducted in a sedentary work environment, but may occasionally require the candidate to exert up to ten (10) pounds of force to move objects. Duties will require the candidate to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcription, viewing a computer terminal, or extensive reading. Duties will be performed in inside environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes can be expected.
