The Education Services Organization within CSG Customer Service is currently driving ambitious plans for development of educational programs and courses for Clinical Education and Technical Service. This position is responsible for the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at any given time and work collaboratively across and outside the organization in order to launch new and revised education programs to meet both the business and customers’ needs. The Incumbent will initiate project management methodologies and procedures to effectively and efficiently manage cross-functional collaboration and establish consistent project and process improvement. This position will directly support the Director of Education Development in providing project leadership for large, cross-functional, new education program deployments, as well as specific course deployments and various special projects.
Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of projects in collaboration with project stakeholders. Provide day-to-day project leadership and decision making on critical project issues as they pertain to project scope, value, schedule, budget, Ensure project documentation is complete and communicated (e.g. project charter, scope statement, project schedule, project budget, project calendar, issues matrix, weekly status reports). Facilitate the prioritization of project requirements with business stakeholders. Manage the planning and control of project activities and resources. Identifies resource needs and develops justification. Report project components status and issues to the Project Stakeholders, and Project Team. Provide teams with advice and input on tasks throughout the project, including documentation, issues management, risk management, and the creation of plans, schedules and reports. Resolve conflicts within the project and across dependent projects between resources, schedules, budgets, priorities, etc. Influence business stakeholders and team members in order to get buy-in on decisions that will lead to the success of critical projects. Manage 3rd party vendors (if applicable) as an integral part of the project team’s activities. Effectively share knowledge, deliverables, and lessons learned with Education Development team and Education Services leadership. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, with at least 6-8 years of project management experience. Must have a solid understanding of PM tools and processes. History with on-time, on-budget delivery of multiple large scale projects. Excellent written and communication skills. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve very complex problems. Strong change management and negotiation skills required, with the ability to work within a matrix-run organization. Experience managing 3rd party vendors and integrating part of the project team’s activities. Business savvy and relationship management and experience leading and mentoring individuals. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a high degree of personal integrity and strong work ethic and be proficient in delivering sustained results in a matrix infrastructure.
