Position Description:
This position will manage small development or capital projects and/or portions of larger projects. Past experience with USAF requirement for securing Protection Level 1 through 4 assets is required.

  • Basic knowledge of linkage between business and immediate project(s) area.
  • Knowledge of program customers, products, technology and processes.
  • Ability to learn and challenge the program team in specific program technical area.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, widely-trusted, consistency between words and actions.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates positive sense of urgency.
  • Relentlessly delivers on all commitments to Integrated Program Team, suppliers, and customers. If commitment cannot be achieved per the schedule, identifies root cause corrective action and clearly communicates to the team.
  • Pulls together data and information and makes recommendations to the team and leaders to improve project performance.

Qualifications

  • BS / BA Engineering, Sciences, or Other Related Program Field and at least 5 years of directly related experience. Advanced Degrees (M.S. / MBA) preferred. In lieu of formal education, 13 years of directly related experience. Specific contract requirement will prevail.
  • Experience with USAF requirement for securing Protection Level 1 through 4 assets.
  • Secret clearance required.

Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:

  • Basic knowledge of key Program Management tools and techniques including scheduling, cost management, change control, concepts of balance of time, scope and resources, work breakdown structures and contracts.
  • Green Belt Certified.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement through team participation and results.
  • Uses enabling tools in daily work to improve results.
