**Responsibilities**
The Project Manager will support project sponsors (and program directors) across a range of business functions to include supply chain, customer support, indirect procurement and property & facilities. Projects will align to Pearson North America’s strategic objectives and will involve significant process transformation and change.

The Project Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation and/or supports workstream(s) as part of a larger program structure. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. May communicate with a company executive regarding the status of specific projects.

**Qualifications**
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. MBA a plus.

  • Knowledge of finance, procurement, supply chain, facilities and/or customer support processes a plus
  • Strong aptitude with technology and systems
  • Other Requirements*

PMI Certification a plus.
Proficiency with MS Project a plus.
Lean Six Sigma a plus.
