Job Description
 
The successful candidate will become Client Operation’s Project Manager partnering with the Citi PMO and TSYS through the life cycle of the project implementation. The Project Lead will become part of the client’s own team by integrating into their workforce and producing deliverables on behalf of the client’s teams. The roles served may include supporting test efforts, assisting clients with selecting TS2 Options to meet business requirements or high level program management overseeing the Implementation. 

The role requires consultation on best practices within a client operational area and therefore prior experience in credit card operations and TS2 Options is preferred. Candidates must have excellent time management skills, ability to manage risk and controls at a product level and the ability to prioritize workloads. Long hours, including weekends, may be required in order to meet Implementation deadlines. In addition, must possess excellent Team building skills, Communication, Conflict Management and Relationship building skills as they act as the bridge between Client Operations, TSYS, and senior Citi leaders.. 

Job Specific Info 

Candidate must have credit card industry knowledge – Issuer experience preferred.
Prior experience with conversions and/or test management is preferred
TS2 Experience is required 

Provides the business direction of the assigned work components for a product, platform or project. Negotiates with stakeholders to determine scope and budget of work activities which advance the conversion business objectives needs. Builds and maintains internal/external business partner and vendor relationships. 

Essential Responsibilities 

Work initiatives are typically average in nature, pose moderate to significant risk and complexity, require periodic direction and considerable analysis/interpretation of data, and encompass a broad range of contact interaction. Responsibilities include: 

– Serves as a high-level business and technical expert providing both internal and external consulting services. 
– Plans, conducts and directs research and/or development work on more complex projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches. 
– Acts in a liaison capacity with other departments, divisions and organizations 
– Makes recommendations on the testing and implementation aspects of projects and programs. Tests design creation based on project requirements. 
– Guides the client through the implementation process from beginning to end, eliminating barriers and directs resources as needed. 
– Proactively monitors critical development functions to ensure milestones and schedules are not negatively impacted. 
– Facilitates communication on any concern, assisting in the development of alternative solutions and risk mitigation plans as needed. 
– Reviews and provides advice on product development and implementation strategy and plans. 
– Coordinates or provides training as needed. 
– Manages implementation activities such as mock verification, 1st Occurrence, and Certification Bank. Works to ensure successful and timely execution of such activities. 
– Ensures the tracking and resolution of data map and option issues are managed in a timely manner. 
Lead TS2 data verification process, ensuring the business has received preparation activities and verification training, onsite support, and serves in issue escalation. 

Qualifications 

Education and/or Experience 

Four year college degree and seven or more years Commercial Card/Credit Card professional experience is preferred. Three to five years previous experience managing Card Industry related projects is required for matrix management. Three or more years TSYS experience is required. Six Sigma Green Belt certification and/or Project Management certification is preferred
