About us:
Trinity Medical Center, a 534-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility, is located in Birmingham, Ala., and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Trinity Medical Center offers programs and services in all medical and surgical areas, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women’s Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Geriatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine and Emergency Care. There are more than 600 physicians on the Trinity medical staff representing 30 specialties and subspecialties. The hospital has been named an American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.

Description
Performs general tasks relate to support of Network Services customers. Works specifications to develop or modify installation, implementation and maintenance of personal computer hardware, software and local area networks (LAN). Provides ongoing support to personal computers, printers, scanners and other peripheral devices under limited supervision. Assists end users with questions, problems and simple applications. Competent to work on most phases of personal computing, including general hardware and software maintenance. Analyses and evaluates personal computing technologies and advises users and management upon request. Conducts and self-directed study on Local Area Network technologies.

Transfers:

Qualifications
Education:

Specialized knowledge of Computer Science, math, or related field typically obtained through two years formal education. Associate degree preferred.

Education (Continued):

All applicants are required to submit an official high school transcript or GED certificate verifying their level of education at the time of their interview. This transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the school or agency.

Experience:

One year experience working with PC and LAN systems.
