| East Tennessee company is seeking a Network / System Administrator’s to design, maintain and tune in-house computer systems and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all computer system and network hardware, software, and communication links. The person in this role will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
Job Requirements:
Required Experience:
College degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of proven information technology experience supporting an enterprise data and voice network.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting physical
and virtual (VMware) servers.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting LAN and WAN
infrastructures and equipment
Strong technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including Cisco
IOS, EMC UniSphere, and Windows 2003/2008
Certifications in one or more of the following: CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCP, Network+
Experience monitoring, analyzing and testing network / computer system performance and
providing statistics and reports

Experience with server and network monitoring systems (i.e. SolarWinds and WhatsUp Gold )
SAP Basis experience is a plus
Experience with SQL Server log shipping
ExaGrid backup, Barracuda SPAM firewall, and/or Barracuda Message Archiver experience
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and team work capabilities
