15%: Establish and maintain an ongoing process for reviewing suspect data, determining root cause, and remediating data quality issues.

25%: Project Management: Partners with cross-functional teams to assess data quality improvement opportunities, identify cost-effective improvements, and manage data quality projects.

15%: Monitors production data quality. Reports to management on the progress of data quality improvement.

Requirements:
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Course of Study/Major: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Quality, Statistics, or Finance. A Masters/MBA in one of these areas is preferred.
Related Work Experience: 6-8 years

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to identify and describe the complex interplay between data in the various systems of origin and final use (e.g., reporting, decision-making, regulatory compliance, etc.).
• Ability to understand the implications of data quality issues and explain the impact technology, organizational structure, and business practices have on data quality.
• Flexible enough to interact in cross-functional and quality improvement teams at every level of the organization.
• Strong analytical skills, as well as hands-on experience with data-related issue analysis and development of solutions to resolve data quality issues.
• Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, data architecture, and data modeling.
• Data profiling experience and strong SQL skills required.
• Experience using tools such as SAP Information Steward to enable data governance and data quality processes.
• Strong working knowledge of quality methodologies such as Six Sigma and Total Quality Management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills are needed to gain cooperation from various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track-record of successfully delivering personal and team results.
• Project management and/or consulting leadership experience are desirable.
• Experience designing and conducting information quality surveys is desirable.
• Experience working in a global business environment is desirable.
