This position will provide proven program/project management support for our federal government client, by providing both project management and technical expertise to the program office responsible for the IPv6 Migration initiative. Specifically:
- Provide project administration and control support based on a strong infrastructure background with experience of planning, design, migration and troubleshooting of one or more of the following: Office 365 Identity, Messaging & Lync Online Services, Exchange Server 2003/ 2010 (Including Unified /Messaging)
- Provide general project support to maintain the project documentation and artifacts.
- Plan, organize and capture the results of project meetings and status reviews.
- Utilize SharePoint and other collaboration tools, and ADOBE Connect
- Prepare and present status updates and reviews using MS Office applications.
- Prepare and maintain schedules and work assignments.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, such as program participants and other staff and representatives from other multiple organizations.
- Provide administrative and technical support as required
Qualifications
Nice to Have:
- ITIL V3 Certification
- Experience managing complex application development and/or infrastructure projects
Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment. May take and transcribe dictation.
