Job Description
The Associate IS Technology Specialist assumes responsibility for and maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals; documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems; supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems group; maintains knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field; and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Required Qualifications
Education / Certifications / Licensure / Specialized Training
High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience / Skills
2 years of IT experience OR Associate’s degree
Clear oral and written communication skills
Analytical skills and logical thought processes
Skills to work under stressful situations so that communications with users, IS staff, and vendors continue to be objective and professional at all times.
Skills to work with frequent interruptions and frequent changes in priorities
