Business Unit Overview

Pentair’s Filtration & Process business is a global leader in the residential, commercial, municipal and industrial markets, providing solutions for the toughest filtration, separation and fluid process management challenges, as well as delivering water treatment, softening, and specialty pumps systems to customers worldwide. Specific end-markets include oil and gas, power generation, chemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, foodservice, medical and municipal and industrial desalination, water and wastewater treatment. Additionally, Pentair products are used in the manufacturing of water softeners, filtration and deionization systems, marine and recreational vehicles (RV) applications, and commercial and residential water filtration applications.
Job Summary

This role will partner with HR VP, Directors, and Managers in the development and implementation of HR technologies to improve and support the advancement of the HR function, increase administration efficiency, streamline HR processes, and support business processes. Provide generalist level support to various groups across the GBU in benefits administration, fleet management, Corporate reporting, PeopleSoft support, sales incentive process, and data collection and analytics.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement technology advancements across the HR function to streamline process, create efficiency, and improve employee engagement and HR functionality globally.
Assist with set-up, optimization, and daily administration of Kronos time and attendance system for our GBU.
Lead the management and development of HR SharePoint sites for HR team interaction, communication, and advancement of key HR initiatives.
Research, identify, recommend, and implement new HR-related technologies in support of key strategic HR initiatives globally.
Produce material of all grades and character which may be of a highly confidential and important nature, and perform various clerical duties and assignments from the HR Manager and Director as necessary.
Facilitate the annual set-up and quarterly & annual review and payment process for our North American sales incentive plan for all platforms in the GBU.
Manage SharePoint site for time-off reporting across North America. Assist HRBP’s with hourly and salaried vacation & attendance reporting and set-up as needed.
Manage Corporate process and requirements for completion of the Ethics & Compliance learning programs in conjunction with other LMS activity for the GBU. Support HR team with reporting and other LMS system requirements as needed.
Identify opportunities to optimize our LMS system across the GBU and implement plans to improve employee development and HRBP support for the organization.
Support reporting needs & requirements by the HR VP, Directors, and Managers as required. Facilitate the collection and reporting of data requested/required by Corporate for the GBU.
Process proper paperwork for employee payments, bonuses, tuition reimbursement programs, computer reimbursement programs and other payment requests.
Facilitate the completion of AAP logs, flow charts, and written plan documents, etc. for proper completion of the Affirmative Action Plans in the US locations in the GBU.
Act as the fleet administrator for our company’s vehicle leasing program across North America.
Full cycle recruitment for non-exempt / hourly positions to include posting positions as well as sourcing and identifying top talent. Attending career fairs/recruiting events.
Own new hire onboarding process for key GBU-level roles to including mailing of welcome packet, new hire orientation and creating new employee files.
Enter data for new hires, employee maintenance, and terminations into HRIS, while maintaining confidentiality on the information. Run reports as required from HRIS (PeopleSoft).
Enter and complete background checks on potential hires as required. Prepare orientation packets for new hires and set up new employee files.
Manage temporary headcount by partnering with agencies, managing existing contracts, and tracking temporary labor.
Administer Corporate HEALTH Program and act as point of contact for benefits related questions. Work with Aon and Pentair Benefits Direct to resolve issues around benefits.
Work with Leave Management vendor to manage FMLA, Disability, and Leave of Absence policies to ensure proper tracking and payment of benefits.
Participate and/or lead process improvement projects when necessary.
Responsible for employee records management.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline. Certification or advanced education / training in HR strongly desired (PHR, SPHR).
Experience: 5+ years of experience with generalist responsibilities in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred. 3+ years of in depth experience working with HR Technologies (ie. HRIS, time & attendance, LMS, R&R Programs, SharePoint) preferred
Ability to work under pressure and handle situations calmly and swiftly.
Possess above average communication skills.
Ability to relate well to other people and deal with employees at multiple levels.
Accurate attention to details and handling of confidential data are required.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated initiative is required.
Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities.
Effective problem-solving skills.
