Job Description

The Global Systems Specialists Team consists of highly skilled professionals who can function in a variety of locations, situations and with multi-market clients in order to support the Global Engineering, Procurement and Construction group and its projects. 

Jacobs Supplier Hub provides an extensive set of features to support the qualification, profile management and performance assessment of suppliers as well as track ongoing supplier/subcontractor compliance. Jacobs users around the globe will have a 360 degree supplier view of the data contained in each supplier’s profile and can exercise proper control over suppliers. Each supplier profile contains basic information such as address, contact, business/diversity classification, general classification and products and services. Perspective suppliers can register through a self-service portal. 

Responsibilities:
Monitoring Help Desk Tickets
Review and Process New User Request Applications
Troubleshooting both internal and external user issues
Processing Prospective Supplier Requests
Reviewing new request on a daily basis
Corresponding with the Supplier regarding completeness of profile data
Troubleshooting different types of issues
Processing Products and Services, Contacts, Address, Business Classifications


Functional Testing
User Training and Support (internal and external users) including work processes
Processing Daily Data Exceptions from Legacy Systems
Implementation Coordination, scheduling conference calls, WebEx sessions, conducting meetings and publishing meeting notes
Maintain change log, functional requirements specification, development testing 


The Global Systems Specialist will be part of a global team and will be responsible for all duties described at multiple locations around the world as needed. 
Training and Experience 

  • At least 1 year of experience in EPC preferred.
  • BA or BS degree.
  • Proficient MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic computer competencies.
  • Must be a creative problem solver capable of working independently.
  • Should be a good public speaker and convey a professional appearance.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills .
  • Willingness to travel the globe.
