What You’ll Do/Need
The Desktop Support Technician supports and maintains computers. They work closely with the Help Desk, Telecom, and Engineering teams to ensure all systems are functioning properly. This team member troubleshoots problems for end users, and this individual must possess a working knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems and network concepts.

Responsibilities

• Repair computers in a network environment
• Install and configure software
• Deploy PC and Mac computers
• Move equipment for users transferring to new locations within the company
• Provide support for telecom equipment
• Support remote users
• Participate in a weekly rotation providing weekend and evening support

Requirements

• Two years of computer support experience
• PC hardware knowledge
• Experience with Windows 7 and 8.1 and Mac OSX
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Office products, specifically 2007, 2010 and 2013 versions
• Knowledge of Good link, Android and iOS portable devices
• Positive attitude with high focus on client satisfaction
• Advanced client-service skills and strong networking and communication skills
