CLINICAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATE (CSA), Endocrinology

Territory: Chicago, IL Territory, includes Milwaukee and Southern Wisconsin (ideal candidate will reside in the greater Chicago area)

Job Responsibilities:

The CSA is a field-based sales position responsible for the sales of the Genzyme Endocrine product portfolio to Health Care Professionals involved in fields of Thyroid Cancer and Molecular Cytology Testing. Successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of sales, market development and strategic business planning and implementation for the products within the Genzyme Endocrinology portfolio. Customer base includes hospital and community-based HCPs- including: endocrinology, nuclear medicine, surgeons, radiology and ENTs. Successful candidate should have a strong background of working through multi-level selling processes such as pharmacy and therapeutics committees and/or an account selling background.

The position will be responsible for the following:

  • Achieving and exceeding assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Meeting and supporting the Endocrine Business Unit objectives.
  • Establishing and maintaining rapport with key customers and developing new customers
  • Attend local, regional and national meetings as directed
  • 50% travel required

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of recent successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience. Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a proven sales track record as a top performer.

Experience in Endocrine or Lipid Management Sales preferred.
