Job Description
The SAIC MSC Program is seeking a C&A Analyst with the drive and initiative to work on a dynamic, fast- paced IT team. The successful candidate will assist with the creation and maintenance of the accreditation packages for MSC’s Ashore systems. This position is located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.The C&A Analyst will support services necessary to ensure Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance of Military Sealift Command Information Technology Systems.

The C&A Analyst’s duties include:
– Perform Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tool scans and Host Based Security System scans (HBSS) on all systems
– Reviewing all deliverables prior to submission for quality, compliance, and consistency
– Provide weekly updates to the Information Assurance Manager ( IAM) via the MSC Executive Summary report for each system or site accreditation
– Submission of C&A packages within Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (Emass) through Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) implementation plan
– Ensure Information Assurance Controls (IACs) are met in accordance with DOD Instruction 8500.2
– Ensure Retina scans are utilizing the correct scan engine and audit ID based on the date of Retina scan
– Coordinate with the IAM, System Admin, and system owner to coordinate all required DIACAP actions

Qualifications:
The C&A Analyst must be organized, deadline-focused, and be able to work with team members to gather, review, and process deliverables in a timely manner. Excellent communications skills, the desire to succeed, consistency, an eye for detail, proven follow-up skills, and an open, team-oriented, positive attitude are crucial components of this position.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 4+ years related experience.

Required Skills:
– Candidate must have at least 4 years C&A experience working with Department of Navy and DIACAP
– Must be familiar with DOD and DoN IA policy
– Must have US DoD Secret clearance minimum
– Maintain IT security POA&Ms, and performing scheduled reviews
– 3 Years related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS:

– Security+ Certified
– CISSP
– Gold Disk, Retina SRR script experience
