Job Description
The Fusion Fleet Manager tool provides support across all aspects of planning, scheduling, communications, and execution for changes to all Oracle Application Cloud Services.Fusion Fleet Manager enables:

  • Development to systematically deliver and communicate code change requests to Cloud Operations;
  • Cloud Operations to efficiently and effectively plan and execute on all changes to hardware/software/network across all data centers, as well as aligning plans for capacity;
  • Customer Success teams to effectively communicate with the customer enhancing and improving plans and changes to their services;

Responsibilities

  • Influence the design and development applying skills in strategic planning
  • Champion new initiatives and stimulate immediate team as well as others to make changes and improvements.
  • Lead effort to design, develop and deliver best practices
  • Communicate and coordinate with other organizations
  • Participate in departmental planning with senior management staff
  • Travel domestically and internationally to coordinate service delivery by remote teams

Qualifications

  • Experience with design, development, production and delivery of Cloud Management tools leveraging Java, APEX and Business Intelligence tools
  • Highly developed leadership skills and proven management skills with experience building and leading an engineering team
  • Extensive experience planning and managing projects with skills in project definition and organization, planning and scheduling, and tracking and managing projects
  • Highly developed risk management skills
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent capacity to learn new technical skills quickly


Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
