Capita Offshore Services is a wholly controlled subsidiary of Capita. Capita has always led the evolution of business process outsourcing in the UK, focused on service transformation through the creation of innovative solutions to customer’s needs. As the needs of our customers have grown, a natural extension of what we have a passion to achieve is an extension of our services offering to provide an offshore capability.

There are many overseas countries that purport to offer low employment cost facilities. We particularly chose to site our main centre at Andheri, Mumbai in India because:

  • Mumbai is the ‘commercial capital’ of India, with virtually all major corporations basing their head offices in this city, and therefore easy access to all kinds of support services.
  • The city has one of the largest and most developed metros in India (busiest airport, excellent hotels and accommodation, high standard of education and living, relatively sturdy civic services, etc.)
  • One of the largest talent pools in India (500,000 English speaking graduates)
  • Mumbai is one of the only three locations in India which are global telecom termination points in the country (Chennai and Cochin being the other two).
