Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.

In all seriousness, I cannot fathom why anyone would base their vote on gender.

Policies, schmolicies. I don’t care who I give my vote to, so long as she’s got breasts. Tee-hee!

It’s like we’re living out a scenario dreamed up by the worst misogynists imaginable. I wanted HRC to win too. She didn’t.

I don’t think Advancing Women has suggested anyone vote for Sarah Palin. Although we publish thoughts of women on both sides of the issue, our position is that, in America, every women has a right to run for office, and all women should support that right without denigrating the candidate in question. Palin has a right to run for office, make her case for her positions and if we don’t agree with it, we don’t have to vote for her. It happens to be a statistical fact that women in office, of both parties, have done more for other women than men in either party. What Advancing Women would like to see is women, of whatever party, becoming over 50% of office holders. We are 100% neutral on whether women should vote for Palin or another candidate. We just hope they vote, and that they keep supporting women candidates from any party.

Nice quote from Madeleine Albright. Funny thing is that she has said she is voting for Senator Obama. I guess I’ll be seeing her in hell.

In all seriousness, I cannot fathom why anyone would base their vote on gender. I’d love to vote for a woman. But I will not vote for that woman. She is diametrically opposed to everything that Hillary Clinton stands for. For that reason, I cannot abide her getting anywhere near the White House. Thanks, but no thanks.
