The trick is how to leverage the connections into job leads. If you are overt and apparent, you will lose your audience. If you are patient and allow time to nurture your new connections, you will have a better chance to get the help you need. Become a fixture with the organization, not a parasite and good things will happen. It’s about building relationships.
