Bahamas

Being a former British Colony, the Bahamas celebrate Christmas in the British traditional way. Celebrations began in the islands towards the middle of November with bazaars, fairs and dinners. Turkey and ham is the main course of the Christmas dinner with pies and cakes for dessert. just because we don't have snow, does not mean we don't have a Christmas! Yards and homes are brightly decorated with lights and animated figures. The Christmas season finally ends after New Year's Day.
