As a team member of the Navistar Independent Product Audit, this Sr. Program Manager – Lead will be based out of Lisle, IL, and will coordinate and manage the entire NIPA Process for NPD Gated Programs from Charter through Ok To Ship. Incumbent will be responsible for determining legacy NIPA issues for resolution in programs and following through with containment audits in VESO, DV and CERT Builds. This position requires knowledge of the NPD Process and the ability to obtain and maintain a strategic alliance within Engineering and Product Development. This position does not have direct reports but will maintain scheduling of Q &VC Builds for the NIPA Audit Team among other activities.

This team member implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.

Position Purpose and Requirements:
Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. [This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports. This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Requires people and resource management through others; part of cross-functional team required to complete the project.]

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of project/program management experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of project/program management experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain ITAR Access
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% locally and Internationally
