JOB SUMMARY RF – Communications – Radio Specialist, will be responsible to handle medium- to long-range wireless data communications systems. This position works closely with our engineering teams to configure, deploy, and test communication systems that bridge our flagship software product, Mobius, with the unmanned robotic vehicles it controls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Software and hardware maintenance Networking: Working with IT, engineering departments, and test operations, you will manage the provisioning of test networks, including physical design, isolation, and addressing. You will resolve conflicts and bandwidth and connectivity issues, and be able to quickly identify root causes of network outages and make necessary repairs. GNSS, Radio, and Video Equipment: Install, configure, troubleshoot, replace, and repair electronic communications equipment. Research and learn about new technologies and methods in RF communication and global positioning. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, JOB SKILLS Associates Degree in Information Systems or related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred. 2-4 years of communications Technician experience in wireless Internet, installation, or other related field preferred. Must have experience with: Networking, VPN, VLAN and management / isolation of test networks. RF – Communications – Radio Technician must also have experience in: GNSS receiver and base station configuration, troubleshooting. MSCE Certification Preferred. CCNA Preferred. CompTIA Preferred.
