Job Title: Project Moves Coordinator (Assistant Project Manager)

Job Summary
Assist Program Manager and Project Moves Manager with the planning and implementation of relocations, logistic moves, furniture reconfigurations, and IT systems. Provide operational support in the establishment of project move management guidelines, processes, and tools.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide operational and procedural support to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures Manage one-off relocations and office set-ups for client new hires and leavers Receive all requests for end user moves; support scheduling, execution and vendor management Support maintenance of a central database housing space plans, space configurations, and furniture layouts Ensure vendors comply with building standards and policies, maintaining as-built files and other documentation, maintaining information in database system, furniture documentation, and move documents Issue work orders for approved projects to contractors, supervise furniture and related equipment moves, receive and verify invoice payments Produce regular reports and administer customer satisfaction surveys in compliance with established contractual performance indicators Interface with Space Planners and end user to gather requirements Assist client as needed with design and planning activities Coordinate project space / moves plans and information with contractors Assist and maintain move plans, furniture and move documents Ensure compliance with approved standards and authority levels

Qualifications
1. Strong knowledge of furniture system and move process
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred
3. One to two years related experience in project or technology coordination preferred
4. Experience having worked with or as part of a corporate facilities organization
5. Ability to develop excellent client relations, client management, and consultation skills required
6. Superior oral and written communication skills required

Software competency: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Visio Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel from floor to floor and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time; regularly use hands to operate office machinery including, but not limited to, telephones, computers, fax, and photocopy machines; regularly required to walk, talk, and hear.
