ASSESSMENT FACTORS

1. Knowledge of Identity & Access Management & Public Key Infrastructure systems.
2. Experience troubleshooting application problems, applying diagnostic tools to trace and resolve problems.
3. Analyzes and synthesizes data to generate potential solutions and courses of action.
4. Identifies problems, considers available information, and evaluates alternative solutions to problems affecting own work.
5. Responds professionally and credibly to substantive questions.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS

1. Knowledge and experience in working with Identity and Access Management & Public Key Infrastructure systems.
2. Familiarity of a robust certificate validation service (RCVS) and online certificate status protocol (OCSP) in a complex IT environment.
3. Understanding the engineering lifecycle of a complex IT environment.

IT SPECIALIST EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
Undergraduate/Graduate Degree OR IT-related experience AND Specialized experience at the full performance level of the next lower grade.

 

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in computer science, engineer, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields indentified above and required the development or adaption of applications, systems or networks.
  • Experience must be IT-related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification) as appropriate.
  • Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.

authority and covered by the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS), a General Grade (GG) pay system divided
