Job Description
United Auto Credit Corporation is now seeking an IT Project Manager for its corporate HQ office in Newport Beach, CA. Reporting directly to the CIO, the IT Project Manager will be accountable for delivering corporate IT initiatives encompassing both applications and infrastructure. This is a new, highly-visible, business-facing role that will have a great impact on the company’s success. Prior full-lifecycle software development project management experience is required.

Primary Objectives

  • Drive project delivery from prioritization through implementation and support
  • Document and manage project objectives/scope/schedule/budget
  • Identify project tasks, dependencies, required resources, issues, and risks; create and maintain project plan
  • Coordinate all project activities across IT departments and business teams
  • Accurately communicate project status to project team members and executive steering committee


Required Experience

  • 3 years as a Software Development Project Manager
  • 5 years of directly contributing to the delivery of corporate IT initiatives (as a BA, PM, etc.)
  • Prior full-lifecycle software project accountability for scope and schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably within Business Administration or Computer Science


Preferred Qualifications ( not required )

  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst, authoring functional software specifications
  • Business intelligence system selection and implementation
  • Mobile device selection and implementation, as well as off-premise infrastructure delivery
  • Web development/enhancement initiatives
  • Vendor and project portfolio management/governance experience
  • Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMP)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, MS Project, QA defect tracking tools, and SalesForce
