Job Description
This position working under the close supervision of the Help Desk and Accounts Management Supervisor; Business Services Section; Bureau of Technology Management (BTM), performs Level One IT troubleshooting and support for all BTM provided hardware and software solutions.

Special Notes :

The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Ability to work with diverse customers in a calm, respectful manner to address potentially difficulty situations; manage and work on multiple priorities or projects; effectively multitask and prioritize workload; work in a team oriented collaborative work environment; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to perform diagnostics on hardware of software; knowledge of general analytical and troubleshooting procedures; industry-standard computer application software, such as the MS-Office suite; IBM compatible computer hardware; and technical competence in a customer support environment and knowledge of information systems technology and operations.

The starting pay is between $43,000 and $67,149 per year depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. The pay schedule/range is 07-35. A 6-month probationary period is required. Check the website for further benefit information. http://etf.wi.gov/members.htm
