Job Description

Serves as department’s systems administrator; provides oversight and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the DSS Information Systems Support Unit. Maintains network performance through network monitoring, analysis, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Manages three direct reports. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college with major in information systems technology, computer science, or related field; two to four years related experience and/or training in microcomputer hardware/software, and some experience in local networking; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A+ Certification and Network+ Certification preferred but not required. Requires a valid appropriate driver permit issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
