Job Description

Purchases raw materials, supplies, and equipment for the company and negotiates competitive pricing along with on-time deliveries.   He/She will procure parts and services, prepare reports and documentation and assist in resolution of problems related to receiving, accounting and inventory.  This position will also research parts and track delivery using both the internet and phone.

This Buyer position frequently communicates both verbally and in writing with vendors and all levels of the organization.  He/She selects sources based on analysis of quality, price and delivery time and communicates the status of part delivery times.  Knowledge of computer hardware is helpful.
