Position Summary:
Provide large scale high velocity analytics production environments. Perform requirements gathering and create architectural, detail design documents and reports. Provide performance tuning of MicroStrategy reports. Train and mentor others in the use of MicroStrategy software and techniques. Document and present assignments to executives and large groups. Aid in the design of Teradata database platform as well as SQL solutions to all BI reporting. Serve as the point of contact for all BI production issues, communication and resolutions. Liaise with multiple Intra IS teams and platforms on a daily basis. Effectively lead/manage project decisions as backup on assigned projects. Guide project groups for BUG, BEGs and LOEs. Lead both offshore and onshore resources effectively and communicate project status to upper management. Required Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or closely related technical field and 2 years of experience in enterprise data warehousing architecture, including 2 years of experience with business intelligence and data warehousing design principles and industry best practices; Microstrategy suite of analytical tools; Teradata database platforms; Oracle; & SQL required. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience. Up to 5% domestic travel required. Must apply by 03/15/2015.
