Until now the available methods for a court reporter to find a scopist were limited, especially since most scopists are freelancers who work from home. You may be wondering, what is a scopist? Explained in the simplest terms, a scopist is someone who edits imperfect transcripts created from the stenographic files of court reporters, mostly in trials, hearings and other legal procedures.
